Dr. Gideon Weed letter to Aaron Doty Oakley, 1871 Jan. 29.

Letter addressed to Weed's cousin, Aaron Doty Oakley, in Folsom, Calif., discussing prospects of Seattle and Kalama, the Northern Pacific Railroad, weather, and giving encouragement to Oakley to move to Washington Territory, indicating good business prospects. Oakley raised sheep and dairy cattle near Folsom and apparently did not relocate.
